Fort Bulkley (1942-1944) - A World War II Coastal Fort first established in 1942 on Rugged Island, Resurrection Bay, Kenai Peninsula Borough, Alaska. Named Fort Bulkley after Colonel Charles S. Bulkley, U.S. Volunteers. Abandoned in 1944.
